Nicotinic stomatitis. The hard palate is white, rough and nontender. The white lesion does not rub off. Red dots, representing dilated salivary gland duct orifices, are present in the white plaque. Nicotinic stomatitis is associated with pipe, cigar and cigarette smoking.
