The mission of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa is to provide the highest level of education in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, while instilling values of ethics, morality and empathy. We strive to insure development of skilled surgeons capable of providing continuing, comprehensive care and the desire for life-long learning. Graduating residents will seek to enter the process for board certification with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
