The Iowa Institute of Oral Health Student Research Fellowship program, initiated in 1979, is the oldest student research training program in the College. The Student Research Competition for the Iowa Institute of Oral Health Award is open to all dental students.  Students receive a stipend and a supply budget.  Awards are not restricted to students qualifying for work study.  Applications for this award will be accepted in the spring of each year. Specific deadlines will be announced.  Instructions for preparing applications are available in the Office of Dental Student Research (N406). Awardees will be expected to submit written progress reports on their projects to the program director in the spring at announced dates and at the conclusion of the research period.
