Oral Health Needs In Older Adults With Advanced Health Conditions

Objective: 

The purpose of this research study is to understand the self-perceived oral health needs of older adults with advanced health conditions and barriers for accessing the needed oral care.

Recruitment Information: 

Individuals with a serious health condition are invited to participate in an oral health study conducted by the Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry. Participants must be age 18 and above and be receiving hospice or palliative care.  Participants will be asked to participate in a 20-minute interview regarding their oral health followed by a brief oral exam.
