The Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry held their Awards Luncheon in the Oral B Classroom. The following students received awards.
Dr. John Warren and Dr. Astha Singhal, graduate student in Preventive & Community Dentistry. Dr. Singhal was recognized for receiving third place in the ADA Post-Doctoral Poster/Table Clinic Competition. Her mentor was Dr. Pete Damiano, Preventive & Community Dentistry. 
Dr. John Warren and Dr. Tariq Ghazal, graduate student in Preventive & Community. Dr. Ghazal was recognized for receiving the Leverett Graduate Student Merit Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dental Public Health, AAPHD, Honorable Mention.
Dr. Julie Reynolds, Fellow Associate in Preventive & Community Dentistry, and Dr. John Warren. Dr. Reynolds was recognized for receiving the Keith E. Heller Dental Public Health Graduate Research Award and the Leverett Graduate Student Merit Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dental Public Health, AAPHD, Third Place.
Dr. Reem Oweis, graduate student in Preventive & Community Dentistry, Dr. John Warren and Dr. Kalyani Yaduwanshi, graduate student in Preventive & Community Dentistry. Drs. Oweis and Yaduwanshi were recognized for completing the written portion of the American Board of Dental Public Health Exam.
